Welcome to Zanzibar - a destination that will captivate you with its beauty and diversity. After

clearing customs and immigration, meet the representative in the waiting area and transfer to

your accommodation. The day is at leisure. Settle in the accommodation and relax.

Overnight at your accommodation in Zanzibar.

Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel. Later get ready for a day full of exploration and

wonder, as you will head for sightseeing of the island.

Around 09:00 am Spice Plantations Visit: Guaranteed to waken your senses. Visit spice

plantations where you will have the opportunity to pick, smell & savour fruit & spices that you

have probably never seen on the supermarket shelf. Commencing at the ruins of the Maruhubi

Palace, via the site of David Livingston’s house (one of Africa’s greatest explorers) the journey

continues north toward the Kidichi Persian Baths. From here, we continue to the rural areas

where local farmers live & produce some of the world’s most exotic fruit and spices. Cloves, star

fruit, ‘bulls heart’, tangerine trees, lemon grass, mangosteen and lip-stick trees, to name a few, are

what you can expect to see – according to the seasons. Perhaps you will fancy buying a basket of

freshly picked spices to take home with you!

Around 12:00 pm – Enjoy lunch at your own expense.

Around 01:00 pm City Sightseeing Tour: Begin with a visit to Zanzibar’s colourful market, alive

with the buzz of locals bartering fresh vegetables and baskets of tropical fruit, cocoa , amongst

the heady smell of exotic fruits. Continue to the site of a cathedral built in 1874. The cathedral

signifies a potent time in Zanzibar’s history and stands on the sight of a past slave market with

the high altar standing on the exact site of the whipping post. Slavery was abolished in 1873 by

decree of the Sultan of Zanzibar. Afterwards visit the residence of the late Sultan of Zanzibar, ‘Tip

House’, the Old Fort, ‘Peoples Palace’ and the House of Wonders’, Forodhani garden full of intrigue

from days of long ago. The tour ends with a stroll down the narrow streets of the old Stone Town,

the heart of Zanzibar’s chequered history.

In the evening around 05:00 pm, return to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Zanzibar

property.

Prison Island Tour: In the afternoon around 02:00 pm start your Prison Island tour. A trip to

Prison Island in a small wooden motorized boat is highly recommended when visiting Zanzibar.

The island once used for the detention of unruly slaves is now watched over by giant tortoises,

some over 100 years old. The beach is superb and the clear sea is excellent for swimming,

snorkelling, fishing and diving; a perfect way to relax.

In the evening around 05:00 pm return to your hotel. Spend a comfortable overnight at the hotel.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. During the first half of the day relax and spend time at leisure in the

property.

In the early evening around 03:00 pm, you shall be picked up from the Hotel and taken to

Forodhani beach where you can board the dhow ready for the sunset Dhow Cruise.This cruise

will excite you as you'll get a good glimpse of wonderful scenes of the Indian Ocean, along the

Stone Town shore line. We will make your evening memorable, soothing you with light sea breeze

while our good staff will spoil you with varieties of aperitifs, experienced Swahili singers will

entertain you with their traditional live music.Sparkling wine, cold local beer, fresh juices and

cocktails will be served, to cheer your delicate palate you'll enjoy a tasting of Italian cheese with

homemade jam, prawns, fried calamari, crispy cassava and other delicacies of Swahili cuisine.

Around 07:00 pm get transferred back to the hotel. Spend a comfortable overnight at the hotel.

Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation. Later check out and bid farewell to Zanzibar Island.

Transfer to the airport or the ferry terminal to take your ride for next destination.
