Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1
  • Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
  • Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. Clear immigration, collect baggage and

    head out of the airport. Your driver will meet you and transfer you to the Amboseli National

    Park. The drive may take approximately 03 hours 40 minutes from the airport in Nairobi. After

    arrival check in to your accommodation and enjoy lunch.


    Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It is known for its large elephant herds and views

    of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers

    panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes,

    zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake

    Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.


    Enjoy an afternoon game drive at the park. Dinner and overnight at the accommodation.

Day 2
  • Amboseli National Park – Game Drive
  • Today, head out early in the morning for the first game drive of the park. Return to your

    accommodation for breakfast. Remaining time until lunch is at leisure. Relax for a bit and savour

    your surroundings. After lunch, get ready to experience the wilderness again, head for your

    second game drive of the day returning to your accommodation in time for dinner.


    In the Amboseli National Park you have a chance to witness the elephants, zebras, wildebeests,

    giraffes, lions and cheetahs in their natural habitats.

Day 3
  • Amboseli to Aberdare
  • After early morning breakfast today, bid adieu to Amboseli and depart towards Aberdare. The

    drive may take approximately 08 hours. After arrival, head to the Aberdare Country Club.

    The Aberdare Country Club, located northeast of Nairobi, is nestled on a slope of Mweiga Hill in

    the Aberdare Highlands. Enjoy a scrumptious Lunch, and then transfer to The Ark.


    The Ark - Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, iconic and quirky. The Ark overlooks a

    floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of amazing wildlife. Resembling and named

    after Noah’s Ark, The Ark comprises of three decks from which numerous balconies and lounges

    provide a superb location for wildlife to be seen. To ensure that you do not miss any animal

    sightings, the night guard will buzz your room when special animals come to the waterhole. The

    Ark has four viewing areas for observing the ever-present animal activity.

Day 4
  • Aberdare – Samburu National Park
  • After breakfast check out and get transferred to Samburu National Park. Arrive in time for lunch

    at your accommodation. The drive is pleasant and may take approximately 03 hours.

    The Samburu National Reserve is a game reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro river in Kenya.

    On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve. Samburu Reserve is a unique

    wildlife conservation haven famous for an abundance of rare species of animals such as the

    Grévy's Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx. The reserve is also

    home to a population of close to 900 Elephants.

Day 5
  • Samburu National Park
  • Enjoy an early morning game drive at the park returning for breakfast. Spend time at leisure

    at your accommodation. Enjoy a Lunch at your accommodation.

Day 6
  • Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
  • After breakfast check out and head towards your next stop in the itinerary in the central part of

    Kenya - the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The drive may take approximately 03 hours.

    Between the foothills of the Aberdare and Mount Kenya situated on the equator west of Nanyuki,

    The Ol Pejeta is a non-profit wildlife conservancy in Central Kenya's Laikipia County. It spreads

    in a large area of 360 square kilometres.


    Africa’s most iconic animals hunt, graze, breed and fight for survival on the plains of Ol Pejeta

    every day, in an ecosystem that has the highest densities of wildlife in Kenya outside of the

    Maasai Mara. Using the latest technology to monitor species populations, and smart fencing

    techniques that allow free movement of migratory wildlife, Ol Pejeta prides itself on being at

    the cutting edge of conservation innovation. As the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa,

    and the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees, Ol Pejeta is also safeguarding some of the most

    vulnerable wildlife in the world, and advocating for change.


    After arrival at your accommodation, check-in and enjoy lunch.


    Visit the Chimpanzee sanctuary in the afternoon. The chimpanzees’ natural home range spans

    from Senegal on the West African coast, through the central forested belt of Africa, to Uganda.

    They are not native to Kenya, but when a rescue centre in Burundi had to be closed due to the

    civil war outbreak in 1993 – Ol Pejeta opened its doors. Here there are more than 35 Chimpanzees

    and you may be able to interact and watch them.


    Later in the day, enjoy the evening game drive at the sanctuary. With the snowy peaks of Mt.

    Kenya as your backdrop, your safari in East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary is sure to be

    as beautiful as it is diverse. Find yourself and the Big Five as you explore 90,000 acres of

    unadulterated wilderness with an experienced guide who will share his expert knowledge with

    you. Venture out there for close encounters with elephants, wild dogs, lions, hyenas, buffalo,

    cheetah, rhino, and all the plains herbivores.

Day 7
  • Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru
  • Enjoy breakfast, check out and transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive may take

    approximately 03 hours 30 minutes.


    Arrive at your accommodation and have lunch. Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley lakes at an

    elevation of 1,754 m above sea level. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in the rift valley of Kenya and

    is protected by Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake's abundance of algae attracts a vast quantity

    of flamingos that famously line up the shore of the lake. After a brief stop at The Great Rift Valley,

    enjoy a game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.

  • Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
  • After breakfast today, bid adieu to Lake Nakuru and continue your journey towards the Masai

    Mara. After approximately 4 hours’ drive, reach your destination.


    After enjoying lunch towards the afternoon set out for a game drive, which will last until sunset.


    Masai Mara National Reserve is a wonderland of nature, where you can see some of the most

    amazing animals on Earth. It is part of a huge ecosystem that stretches from Tanzania to Kenya,

    and every year, millions of wildebeest, zebra, and other herbivores make a long and dangerous

    journey across this land. They are looking for fresh grass and water, and they have to face many

    challenges along the way. One of the most exciting moments is when they have to cross the Mara

    River, where hungry crocodiles are waiting for them. Many of them don't make it, but those who

    do reach the green and fertile plains of the Masai Mara. Here, they can enjoy the bounty of nature,

    but they also have to watch out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and other predators that are always

    on the hunt. The Masai Mara is also home to many other animals, such as elephants, giraffes,

    buffaloes, rhinos, hippos, and more than 500 kinds of birds. You can also see the Maasai people,

    who live in harmony with nature and have a rich and colorful culture. The Masai Mara is a place

    of beauty, diversity, and adventure, where you can witness the circle of life in all its glory.

  • Masai Mara – Game Drive
  • One game drive is not enough to experience the majestic wildlife of this famous reserve. Today,

    head out early in the morning for the first game drive of the park. Return to your accommodation

    breakfast. Remaining time until lunch is at leisure. Relax for a bit and savour your surroundings.

    After lunch, get ready to experience the wilderness again, head for your second game drive of

    the day returning to your accommodation in time for dinner.


    (Alternatively, you may choose to have breakfast at your accommodation, and then depart for a

    full day game drive with a picnic lunch box, returning at the accommodation for dinner)

Day 10
  • Morning Game Drive – Departure from Masai Mara
  • Enjoy an early morning game drive. Return and have breakfast at your accommodation.

    Afterwards check out from your accommodation and start the return journey to Nairobi. On

    arrival in Nairobi you will be dropped at the Jommo Kenyatta International Airport for your

    onwards flight.
