Safari starts by our representative who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival
formalities. Your will then be transferred to your hotel where you will be briefed about your
adventure safari.

around town and craft villages to get items which you may need while in upcountry

After morning Breakfast, we will transfer to Semiliki Reserve - The Park is dominated by the
easternmost extension of the great Ituri Forest of the Congo Basin which is one of the most ancient
and bio-diverse forests among the few that survived the last ice age. Our well trained guides are
always in position to point out and explain the park’s diversity of flora and fauna and not
forgetting the Sempaya Bintate & Sempaya most famous female hot springs which are one of the
main attractions. Guests get to experience a guided primate walk, guided game drives, guided
nature walks and a boat cruise on Lake Albert which rewards each one with a view of a great
checklist of Shoebill storks.

After a hot breakfast, we will transfer to Lake Albert for a boat ride, enjoy a morning relaxation
while observing wildlife and the Shoebill stork which is quite elusive but can be best spotted in
the morning as it preys its fish.
Later we will return to the lodge and get our packed lunch then head to the park offices where
you are to meet the park guides and set out to trek the Sempaya Hot Springs trail. Watch out for
monkeys and birds along the trek. The springs eject boiling geysers of 2 meters into the air. The
pool boils at 103oC and to experiment the hotness of the water you will place eggs or bananas in
the boiling water and indeed within 10 they will be ready to eat. After returning from the Hot
Springs trek that will last at least 2 hours (including time at the springs) settle down for your
picnic lunch and later leisurely transfer to your Lodge.

After morning breakfast, we will have a guided game drive through Toro Semiliki wildlife reserve.
The reserve is a mixture of Savannah Grassland and acacia-combretum woodland which
intersperse with patches of brasses palm forest. There are significant belts of riparian woodland
along the main courses, as well as some extensive swamps towards lake Albert. The park is
dominated by Uganda kobs, water bucks, warthogs, small forest and large savannah elephants,
buffalos and birdlife.

After breakfast at your lodge, transfer to the starting point of your Chimpanzee trekking
experience in Kibale Forest National Park which is reputed to have the greatest variety and
highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The most famous of its 13 species is the
Chimpanzee, man’s closest relative. Kibale’s 1450 Chimpanzee represent Uganda’s largest
population of this endangered primate. Kibale is also a home to the rare I’Hoest’s monkey. Other
primates include the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed
monkey, Olive baboon to mention but a few. So you will enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical
rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus
monkeys and many others.

After breakfast, we transfer to magical Bunyonyi and relax. We may spend a full day and night
paddling a dugout canoe or sampling crayfish.

After breakfast, transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on Golden Monkey Experience and
allocation of the guides rangers, we will proceed to the jungle to enjoy your Golden tracking.
Although the hike can be physically demanding, the anticipation of the exciting experience ahead
is amazing, and the beauty of the Golden Monkeys alongside other primates in the forest and its
inhabitants are fascinating. Discover their gorgeous natural habitual and the many species they
share it with its Cheeky playful mates.

In the morning, we proceed for a Batwa pygmy trail Experience– here we shall experience the
culture of the ancient Batwa People who live in these forests, See the forest through the eyes of
the first People who have lived here for over 500,000 years! Experience the lives of the Batwa
People on the Interactive Batwa Trail and learn more about their hunting tricks, blacksmith,
making of fire from sticks, herbal collections, weaving of Baskets, making bamboo cups, clothing
beyond this generation among other interesting thrilling activities. Return to your lodge.
After lunch, we will enjoy an optional sunset boat cruise to Akapane Punishment Island. This is
where young unmarried pregnant girls were taken there and abandoned to die of hunger by their
parents – we will listen to the history and lots of stories around the Island.

After an early breakfast depart to the starting point for briefing about your gorilla trekking
adventure after which you will be led by experienced gorilla trackers on the slopes of the
volcanoes. You will start from the site where the gorillas were encountered the day before and
from here the gorilla tracking begins.
Although the hike can be physically demanding, the anticipation of the exciting experience ahead
is amazing, and the beauty of the gorilla forest and its inhabitants are fascinating. One of Africa’s
major highlights is when you encounter these gentle apes.
It is a humbling experience to stand just meters from man’s distant cousins as they eat rest, play
and bond with their young ones. Follow the mountain gorillas as they range freely in the
impenetrable forest, and discover their gorgeous natural habitual and the many species they
share it with. You are allowed an hour with the gorillas before finally sloping down back to your
lodge.
Don’t forget to carry your rain gear, packed lunch, plenty of water, gloves, hat, and water proof
bag for protection of your camera in case of rain.

After Breakfast, transfer to Entebbe with a stopover at the Equator for water experience, here you
will too have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time. Take some photos, then
another stops over at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers where you will be able to watch the
ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through the generations arriving in
the afternoon.
